Creation Idea and Purpose

Monet’s Water Lilies are the paintings that bring me the greatest peace and joy. He painted 250 water‑lily works throughout his life. After learning about his real‑life story, I finally understood why he remained so devoted to painting water lilies.

It turns out water lilies were his late beloved wife’s favorite flower. By painting water lilies repeatedly, he expressed his endless longing for her. This deep devotion greatly inspired my creation.

Therefore, I painted this oil painting Dreamy Water Lilies, to pay tribute to Mr. Monet’s persistent and loyal love for his true love.

The Poem About The Painting :

The pond unfurls in ripples of rose and violet hue,

One by one, the water lilies wake and bloom anew.

Wind drifts through willow boughs of Giverny garden,

Where light and shadow weave a scene of love, for thee.

He wove his longing, brushstroke by brushstroke, into every tone,

And in the lilies’ scent, He remembers,

always, how she loved this pool of dreams.

Starting with creative sketches, and using the flow ink rubbing way make the backgroud, I completed a 35‑inch oil painting. The artwork is then digitized and crafted into greeting cards and art‑style silk scarves. If you are interested, you may purchase these cultural‑creative products here.
